WC1 completed a modest 801 m air-core program at Blind Freddie to test surface copper anomalism in a 2.5 km geochemical trend; results are pending 4–6 weeks and will inform whether further drilling is justified at this early-stage prospect, while the company pivots focus to the Salazar scandium project in WA.
WC1 has commenced air-core drilling at Blind Freddie, a greenfields copper-gold target defined by surface geochemistry and gravity anomalies, to test subsurface potential within its district-scale Cobar West tenure. Results expected within ~2 weeks; this is early-stage exploration testing alongside its more advanced Bulla Park copper-antimony-silver resource (20Mt inferred) and Salazar scandium project.
